History

One Stop Rentals was started in the spring of 1985 by Tom Stibbs , Walt and Sonya Blair as a Home, Garden, Industrial, and Party Rental Company in North Port Coquitlam. The idea was ONE STOP to get all your rental items. Walt and Sonya Blair carried on focusing on the party rentals portion of the company. Walt ended up opening an industrial supply company and the company was sold to Shari Saunders.

Shari focused only on the party rental items and supplied Port Coquitlam and the lower mainland with quality rentals for dishes, tents, tables, chairs and etc.

In 2010 Shari wanted to spend more time with her family and sold the company to Cindy Laninga and Jack Laninga. Cindy was looking for a new venture after many years in the Souvenir supply industry while Jack was working at his own ceramic decoration company. They both liked the idea of a local company that can help the environment and provide local jobs. Jack and Cindy retired from the business and the business was taken over by mother and son team Tanya & Tiaan Grimbeek, who are also the owners of Top Notch Catering.

Tanya and Tiaan are very proud to be the owners of a  business that has been in the Tri-City area for over 38 years, provide local jobs and best of all help service customers with quality items that help the environment.
